As a result of the infusion of funding through the $1.2 trillion Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, construction is booming throughout the country. At the same time, the focus on who is doing the building and benefiting from these projects is at an all-time high.
The construction industry is making great strides to create opportunities for small businesses but collectively we can do better! Most small businesses are not benefitting at the levels the industry aspires to and many XBEs, despite getting certified, attending networking events, checking websites, participating in webinar trainings, are not getting work.
TradesNetwork is designed to be an all-of-industry effort uniting public agencies, prime contractors, business associations, nonprofits and the XBE community-- amplifying the effectiveness of existing programs and leading to results that transform communities.

Our goal for TradesNetwork is to become an industry wide resource for small businesses and prime contractors.
Our collaborative approach supports XBEs through all stages of development and helps them build the relationships and knowledge needed to increase capacity. And we support prime contractors by connecting them to a deeper pool of better qualified subcontractors. The result is a new cost-effective initiative that elevates the industry’s ability to achieve the goals set by project owners and funders.
TradesNetwork is the only collaborative online platform for Public Agencies, Project Owners, and Prime Contractors to support and connect with XBE subcontractors.
